I love the style and the variety of options. The pockets add interest while not adding bulk to the hips. The welt pocket is a lot of steps but the step by step directions resulted in perfect pockets the first try and actually did not take that long to sew! A classic style that can be made for casual or work wear.

My very first Itch to Stitch and I am hooked! The fit is excellent and these are *so* comfortable and flattering. I made my “trial” (muslin) out of some old stretchy mystery fabric that I couldn’t figure out anything to do with. This pattern is so good that this ‘throw away’ fabric just became a versatile new skirt (well “skort”, really) that I’m sure I will wear all the time! Love how a drapey fabric ends up almost indistinguishable from a skirt. And no chub rub! The bomb.

A great and versatile pattern designed with love for details. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The fit was spot on and my culottes are very comfortable to wear. I love the contoured waistband.

I LOVE this pattern! The directions and diagrams are clear to understand. I also love the tips along the way. The resulting culottes are extremely flattering and very comfortable… mine wear very much like a dramatic a-line skirt (love that!). I definitely plan on making a few more! I am pretty picky when it comes to buying online patterns from indie designers, and Itch-to-Stitch has created another fantastic design that is very well drafted and spot on with ready-to-wear and the runway.
