New Pattern: North Point Trousers
Whether you sew or not, you need a pair of timeless trousers in your wardrobe. Now it is possible for us sewists to create a pair with all the classic features with the newly released North Point Trousers sewing pattern!
I am very excited about the North Point Trousers pattern.
On a side note, initially I called the pattern North Point Pants. But since then, I was told that in England, people call men’s underwear pants, so I went with Trousers. I really wish someone could unify the English language so we won’t have any confusion. Would someone do that for me? 😉
The North Point Trousers pattern is 20% off for one week only. The volume discount still applies! Remember to check out other patterns while you are at it: spend $20 or more, get 15% off your entire cart; spend $30 or more, get 20% off your entire cart!
North point Trousers Feature:

I am super proud of my testers. Some of them never made any trousers/pants before, and some of them never made a welt pocket before. And their trousers all came out beautifully. Here are their master pieces:

I think you would have been fine calling these North Point Pants. In England, men’s underwear are called “underpants”, not just “pants”.
Nope, pants means underwear in the UK. When Americans say pants, I know they mean trousers, but I always have a little giggle nonetheless.
Could these be easily converted to high rise trousers? I prefer pants that fit on my proper waist.
Yes, you can lengthen the rise easily; instructions are included in the pattern. However, you may need to choose a size smaller for the waist (not for the hip) because your waist is (usually) smaller higher up.
Amazing that they look incredible on all these beautiful ladies of various sizes! Very impressive.
They all look so great! Nice work, to all of the ladies involved!
Wow they look great on everyone – can’t believe some of your testers never made pants… oops! trousers before! Looks like a “must have ” pattern!
I love these. I’ll buy them tonight. I’m so happy you are making patterns that are dressy casual – exactly what I can where to work. I’ve stopped buying patterns now except for yours and Jalie.
I am so flattered Karen. I know you will be able to make some good-looking pairs. 🙂
