  1. Gail

What an easy sew! So versatile, from dressy to casual. A one yard wonder!

  2. Patricia

Nice pattern! I lengthened it and did a high round back adjustment. The next time I make it I will lower the armscye a little bit. One star lost because there isn’t an optimized projector pattern file. I don’t like to print.

  3. Jessica

Love it, have made 4. This will be my standard top.

  4. Sacha

Very nice finish and really well fitted pattern. Looks very flattering

  5. Cheryle

I love the instructions ! Very clear!

  6. Kadri

    Great square neck basic tee!

  7. April

I wear Tees nearly everyday and this one is very comfortable and has an elevated look.

  8. Anonymous

I love that it is both a raglan sleeve and a square neck – which is flattering to many body types.

  9. Roberta

Loved it! I’ve made 2 so far. Super easy pattern with great results.

  10. Anonymous

The pattern went together well. The fit isn’t quite right for me though, there’s a tightness across the back of the shoulders. Probably I should have sized up rather than down.

  11. Signe

This pattern is awesome! Your patterns are written very clearly. Also made the Melrose and will make others.

  12. JEan

Your patterns are always great. I never worry about directions or how they fit, even though I’m a larger size.

  13. Kim

Love this pattern and the square neckline. I have made 3 so far. Two with 3/4 sleeve and one short sleeve. Perfect fit . Very clear instructions

  14. Debra

I love it. Your patterns have very detailed, easy to understand, and wonderful pictures to help as well.

  15. Liz

Love this pattern, excellent instructions as usual. The square neck worked wonderfully and especially like the dart in the sleeves making the fit on the shoulders perfect.

  16. Robyn

Just the style I wanted to make. I am quite short and a lot of on-line patterns are too boxy and bulky for my hour glass shape. I love the accuracy of these patterns and find them to be very good value for money with superb instructions. They always make my sewing easy and satisfying.

  17. Pirjo

    nice and practical

  18. Ami

I’ve already made three and loving it! Great drafting as always.

  19. Loriann

This top is adorable, comfortable, stylish and the directions are easy to understand. I just finished one and am cutting out two more!

  20. Susan

Love this pattern, always wanted a nice square neckline and now I have it.

  21. Pat

Great fit & easy to assemble pattern.

  22. Diane

I made one in a ponti and another in a cotton lycra and love both. Plan another in alpaca. Fit is great.

  23. vΓ©ronique

    very good pattern thanks

  24. Cilla

This is a great pattern that gives a lovely neat square neck. I always find that sewn down facings look good on T shirts. As always ITS size 4 fits me well. Sleeves are always too long on me, but I had to shorten them by even more than normal this time, so check before you cut.

  25. Mandy

What a super pattern. The square neckline is so flattering. Easy to follow instructions. Love it!

  26. sue

    Love it πŸ‘

  27. Lyn

I have made two now, one short sleeved and one 3/4 . Both have perfect fit and came together easily with very clear, precise instructions. I love them both.

  28. Peg

As with each pattern from that I have purchased, it is very well written and makes even joining 2 sizes easy. All my projects have turned out well and look professional.
    Thanks for chance to opinionate!
    Peg

  29. Mary Ann

A nice basic to have in your closet.

  30. Anonymous

Liked the neckline and the overall fit was good. Will make again

  31. Deborah

I love this top. It fits perfectly!

  32. Anonymous

    Love the pattern!

  33. Patricia

I will have to shorten the pattern in the future 1.5 inches, I am approx. 5ft 4 inches. I used my usual size and the fit is great! I can see this as a TNT pattern for me. Great Instructions, thanks Kennis!

How to choose your size

  1. Determine if you should use the regular bust front pieces or the full-bust front piecesβ€”subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 3β€³ (7.5 cm) or less, use regular bust; if it is more than 3" (7.5 cm), use full bust.

  2. Compare your bust circumference (fullest part) to the β€œBody Measurements” table. Using the corresponding row for your bust (regular bust or full bust), choose the size that best fits your bust. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.

  3. Compare your waist circumference (narrowest part) to the β€œBody Measurements” table. Choose the size that best fits your waist. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.

  4. Compare your hip circumference (widest part) to the β€œBody Measurements” table. Choose the size that fits your hip best. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.

  5. It’s OK to use different sizes for the bust, waist and hip. The instructions for blending sizes are included in the pattern.

  6. If you are taller or shorter than 5’6” (168 cm), you should consider lengthening or shortening the garment. The instructions for lengthening or shortening are included in the pattern.
