New Pattern: Santorini Tank
Hey there, my lovelies! Guess what? Itch to Stitch has just released a fabulous new sewing pattern, the Santorini Tank, and it’s perfect for those hot summer days when you want to stay cool and stylish. This pattern features gorgeous princess seam lines that run from the neckline in the front and the back, giving it a flattering and unique look. If you appreciate a garment that keeps you cool in the summer, look no further than this effortless, comfy, woven sleeveless tank!
For one week (through June 11, 2023), the Santorini Tank pattern is 20% off. The volume discount still applies—get 15% off your entire cart if your purchase is $20 or more, or 20% off your entire cart if your purchase is $30 or more.
Let’s take a closer look and discover why this pattern is a must-have for your summer wardrobe!
- Options for cup sizes
- Round neckline
- Front and back princess seams from the neckline
- Neckline and armholes finished with an all-in-one facing
- Buttoned on the side
- Designed for non-stretch woven fabric
Besides the princess seams that accentuate your beautiful curves and make fitting a breeze, my favorite feature is the buttons on the side. Not a fan of buttons? You can also use snaps instead.
When it comes to the fit of the Santorini Tank, I would describe it as semi-fitted. Designed to be a breezy summer top, it provides some ease for a comfortable feel while still contouring over your curves.
I am thrilled with the beautiful creations of my testers. Let’s look at their Santorini Tanks!

Lovely top, something I would definitely worn when I was younger, but more into sleeves these days.
Great, Itch to Stitch currently has 76 patterns with sleeves, and of course there will be more in the future: https://itch-to-stitch.com/product-category/sleeves/
I love the design. Could I substitute a zipper for the buttons on the side?
Hi Lori, yes, you can substitute a zipper. You would skip the side front facing nor the side back placket, and just put the zipper in the side seam.
Really love your designs. Just purchased this one. Looking forward to the next one 🥰
What a pretty top, especially made in linen. Basic, and yet very stylish when worn as a top or under a jacket. Can’t wait to get the pattern!
Thank you for views of the testers although it would be helpful to know what fabric they used for the garment being shown.
Really a beautiful woven tank top.
