I am a slow sewer but the Busan top took a SINGLE DAY to churn out! And that was with adding a lining to the entire sweater (the fabric I fell in love with causes a skin reaction so I line it every time). The pattern was easy and fit extremely well with minimal changes. My second five star review (after the Mountain View Jeans) and I am currently making a second Busan top as a dress. The changes I did make were: shortening the sleeves (at the designated area per the pattern), added a lining and a wide fabric band at the bottom instead of hemming.

  2. Julie

    Love it!

  3. Rhonda

    Beautiful shirt!

  4. Taeyla

Purchase process was seamless, easy and quick. I have made this as a size 10 and it was easy to sew, instructions were clear and final garment great to wear. Thank you. I look forward to extending the line to make a dress. I love the sleeve detail.

  5. Terry

Came out so cute. Love this pattern!

  6. Judy Gary

    Great and easy pattern

  7. Mary

    impressive sleeves

This is a delightful pattern. I love the vintage feel of the sleeve detail and the clear directions. I’m not an especially fast sewer, but I completed the project in just a few hours. I used a loop backed modal jersey and following the measurements I graded from a 2 to a 4 at the hips. The hips are a little looser than I had expected, but I think I have lost some muscle mass during lockdown (it certainly isn’t due to fat loss 😊), so this is on me for not double checking. The Busan is just a lovely pattern to make and wear.

  10. Anita

What an awesome pattern. Sews up fast. I love it. Keep them coming!!

  11. Nicole

Wonderful pattern – simple and quick with maximum impact!!!

  12. Anonymous

Lovely shape top which was easy to print, and put together, great instructions as well. I hope to make more that one!

  13. Nicola

As my first Itch to Stitch pattern, this was great, there was a simplicity to the instructions that I loved. I chose to pick my size from the finished garment measurements and it turned out beautifully. I made a second straight away. A really lovely pattern and upgrades a sweatshirt look to something a little more stylish.

  14. HaleLaulea .

This was my first Itch to Stitch pattern and it is huge! Two or three sizes too big. I serged with a 1cm seam and coverstitched. It’a cute pattern, but the sizing is way off. A very easy top to make. A friend that is bigger than me will be happy to receive it.

  15. Joanne

Loved this top. The fit is perfect. I made a 6 and graduated to an 8 at the hips. The instructions were very detailed and easy to follow.

  16. Rosemary

    Beautiful mutton sleeves.

  17. mrs

so stylish and as a returner to sewing after many years very manageable with clear instructions.

  18. Ana

Such a classic: the sleeves are a great statement piece, this top is versatile if you are like me & like to play around with different fabrics. Great instructions.

  19. Gail

Great pattern, easy and clear instructions, now on my third one, love it.

  20. Shelley

Great in style pattern. An easy make sure to be repeated.

  21. Dawn

The busan top was so easy to make, good sizing and clear instructions. I made a few alterations to the shoulder placement due to my small back, but it worked out great. Think I’ll make many more of this top

  22. Yvette S.

Love the style of this. Drafting excellent.

  23. Jackie

I lengthened the top 1 inch to hide my belly pooch.

  24. Viki

This is a great pattern – well-drafted and so flattering.

  25. Jennifer

This pattern is so great! I love the long cuff, the instructions are clear, and the fit is perfect. I’ve made two already.

  26. kate

I love the sleeve detail elevating a plain top to something special. Perfect for under dungareees.

  27. Harpa Jónsdóttir

Very good pattern, super easy to follow

  28. Victoria

Busan top has been very simple to assemble and is a cut above a simple T. I’ve made one as a toile, and will make some more. I can see already it will look different in different fabrics. The download was easy – although it didn’t print to scale on A4 paper. When I changed to Letter size, it was fine. Sizing – I chose the size based on my bust and waist measurement. I could probably have gone down a size, as I’ve had to take in the side seams. But my fabric was stretchy, so it could be that. If I make with something less stretchy next time, I will cut on exact measurements again. If I make with a stretchy fabric, I would size down. First Itch to Stitch pattern – will definitely make more.

  29. Leigh

    Lovely pattern
