New Pattern: Nusle Joggers
With the Nusle, you get three great patterns in one: A Long Split Hem option, an Ankle Cuff option, and a Capri Cuff option! And they all come in the full-size range of 00 to 40! These are so comfortable and on-trend that you will want to wear them in the house, in the gym, and out-and-about. The Nusle Joggers are perfect to be worn with the Nazare Zip-up Hoodie I released last month!
For one week (through February 8, 2023), the Nusle Joggers pattern is 20% off. The volume discount still applies—get 15% off your entire cart if your purchase is $20 or more, or 20% off your entire cart if your purchase is $30 or more.
Nusle Joggers Features:
- Elastic waistband with drawstring
- Mid-rise that sits at the natural waist
- Three options:
- Long Split Hem
- Ankle Cuff
- Capri Cuff
- Slanted front pockets
- Designed for medium 4-way stretch knit fabric with good recovery
The Nusle is elastic waist pull-on pants so they are quick to sew and easy to wear. Above the knees, the Nusle has a slim fit. Each of the three options gives you different shapes below the knees. The Long Split Hem option is straight below the knees with side slits; the Ankle Cuff option tapers from the knees and ends on the ankles with cuffs; and the Capri Cuff option tapers from the knees to the mid-calves with cuffs.
The measurements for the finished waist circumference, hip circumference, front rise, back rise, inseam, thigh circumference, and knee circumference are included in the pattern. And as usual, the pattern tells you how to choose the right size as well as lengthen and shorten instructions.
I recommend using a 4-way stretch fabric for maximum comfort. You don’t need a whole lot of vertical stretch; just a slight vertical stretch is enough. And depending on the amount of stretch and drape your fabric has, your joggers might be shorter or longer.

Great collection! Love all these amazing joggers pattern. Thanks for sharing.
I really like the looks of this pattern. But I live in a small town and fabric choice is an issue here. Do you have a good source for fabric that has a good stretch and recovery for this pattern. Your testers have a nice variety of fabrics.
I’d appreciate any suggestions.
Does this pattern have a projector file? Does the PDF file have layers (one layer per size)?
Some of my customers use the A0 file with their projectors. It does have layers.
How do these compare style (outside of the hem differences) and fit wise to the Fortuna Joggers in your Sew Beautiful book? They look very similar.
The fit of the ankle cuff option is slightly roomier. And the Fortuna doesn’t have the split hem nor the capri options. The Nusle comes in sizes 00 to 40 where as the Fortuna has sizes 00 to 20.
Hi Kennis!
I love my Fortuna from your book. I can’t see the rise information on this new pattern. How does it compare to the Fortuna?
The front and back rises are the same as the Fortuna. The measurements are included in the instructions.
