It is in the quiet hours of the evening when her kids are in bed that the sewing gets done. She’s sewn up the Angelia shorts in preparation for a trip to Cuba this fall!

My fondest memory is learning to sew on my mom’s old straight stitch singer, especially making buttonholes using the Singer attachment, which was magic.
My fondest memory is my mother teaching me to Sew. I wanted to learn to sew curtains for the various military homes that we were living in. It would get expensive buying them in the store every single time we moved. So I mentioned to my mother that I wanted to learn and she taught me how to make pillows. I will always be grateful to her for being so patient with teaching me how to sew.
My fondest sewing memory: I was about 4, and my grandma (who was a seamstress) came to our home, took measurements, cut the fabric on the floor (teddies on light orange) and the next time, brought me and my 7yo brother matching flannel pyjamas (the ones with trousers and button-up jacket set, buttonholes were all done by hand). I loved those pyjamas!
My fondest memory is a very, very recent event. It is of my daughter’s first sew. She sat down and sewed up 2 hair bows for a pattern test, which was for absolute beginners. I am such a pround mama.
