I really like this pattern, but I have to raise the neckline at least an inch to avoid my bra showing

  2. Jacquelyn

I made this in a bamboo ribbed knit. It was an easy make and I definitely will make it again. I feel it’s probably best with a drapier knit. Always looking for some interesting knit patterns for t shirts and Itch to Stitch never disappoints!

  3. Pamela

This is a distinctive pattern here~ I was adding some classic white t tops to my summer wardrobe, and I wanted something a bit different than the crew and dolman I made~ It was then that I looked at Itch to Stitch patterns~ these are patterns that I can count on to be drafted well, easy to fit and offer me style with the hint of classic sophistication. This pattern fit everything I was looking for! I will be sewing this up with an elbow length sleeve in white to wear with navy linen shorts, jeans, jean skirts,, , well, you name it,,, and it will work in my core wardrobe.
THAT is what I was looking for! Thank you Kennis for a lovely, easy and stylish pattern! LOVE IT!

  4. Denise

Your patterns are the best! The fit is perfect for my body shape, little to no alterations needed for Size 12.

  5. Margaret

I was excited to sew this lovely top. I had an issue with the twist part of the pattern. It shows a small portion of the stitching/finishing of the fabric. The neckline hits me very low in the front, so much so that I would need to wear a tee or camisole with it. I tested this pattern with a thin stretchy fabric. I am not sure how to raise the neckline and maybe if I had sewn it with a more substantial knit fabric the twist would behave. The top fit me nicely for length and sleeve circumference. I have other patterns from you that I have made many times and I will probably try making adjustments on this top.

  10. Diane

This is such a beautiful pattern, and very flattering for all figure types!! I recently gained some weight due to health problems-but no matter, this looks fabulous regardless!!

  11. angie

Another simple but creative pattern! It easily went together with a small amount of time.

  12. Shannon

    Your patterns are always amazing.

This is an easy sew for a top that is a little bit different. I used Sewing Pins and Needles video on youtube and made it out of a light sweater knit. I love it!

  14. Audrey

Currently made a muslin of this wonderful easy to follow pattern. I have some adjustments to make and can’t wait to show off my one to actually wear! I love that Itch To Stitch patterns accommodate the different bust sizes, easy to shorten and grade. The illustrated step-by-step instructions help to produce professional results!

  15. Lindsey

Love this pattern (and all of your patterns). Instructions are so clear and easy to follow. Patterns are always trendy and easy to adapt.

  16. Mary

This cute tee is my favorite top right now. I made a short sleeve version and plan to make a few more with long sleeves for fall. The sizing was good, and the neckline is very flattering.

  17. Wendy

Love it and that you have the testers try and review. I especially like watching Karina.

  18. Janet

    Always excellent papers and instructions

  19. Brigetta

Love Love Love this top, I have already made 2 short sleeved ones (fabric constraints) and have a long sleeved one on the cutting table. So quick and easy to make.

Great pattern, clear instructions, worked well even without my typical fba. Easy to adjust fit.

How to choose your size

  1. Determine if you should use the regular bust front pieces or the full-bust front pieces—subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 3″ (7.5 cm) or less, use regular bust; if it is more than 3" (7.5 cm), use full bust.

  2. Compare your bust circumference (fullest part) to the “Body Measurements” table. Using the corresponding row for your bust (regular bust or full bust), choose the size that best fits your bust. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.

  3. Compare your waist circumference (narrowest part) to the “Body Measurements” table. Choose the size that best fits your waist. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.

  4. Compare your hip circumference (widest part) to the “Body Measurements” table. Choose the size that fits your hip best. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.

  5. It’s OK to use different sizes for the bust, waist and hip. The instructions for blending sizes are included in the pattern.

  6. If you are taller or shorter than 5’6” (168 cm), you should consider lengthening or shortening the garment. The instructions for lengthening or shortening are included in the pattern.
