  1. Anita S.

Great top. I am only 150cm tall and your patterns are easy for me to alter. Neckline looks great

  2. Cynthia

I am just learning to sew garments after decades of quilt making. The Uvita pattern and add on have given me practice and confidence and right now I’m cutting out the Anza jumpsuit. Cutting and pasting the pattern isn’t my favorite part, but the end result is quite nice.

  3. Karen

    Top turned out great

  4. Stephanie

I like it ! Maybe next time I will do the cuff shorter. Otherwise it’s perfect

  5. Angie

I love these patterns. I’ve used many patterns from independent designers but the patterns from Itch to Stitch are head and shoulders above the rest. Great designs, size layers available for printing, very clear and consise instructions and affordable.

  6. Sally

I have been playing around with the Uvita pattern. It’s so versatile, especially with the add-ons.

  7. Tammy

I have made two of these from very different kinds of knits. I really love the basic pattern and the add-ons are fantastic. I am going to keep working my way through various iterations of this. It fits perfectly, and it is so nice to have a sweater that sits at the right point on my shoulders and hips. I get a lot of compliments on this. Its a very quick and easy sew! Highly recommended for anyone.

  8. Elaine

Makes a lovely well fitting hoodie. Already made two but I have left the band off the bottom and have a plain hem. Love it. Good instructions too.

  9. Sheila

The directions are great and lots of options to modify the original pattern. Thanks!

  10. Carol

We all need a dress down top andthis pattern doesn’t disappoint

  11. Mary

It was an awesome pattern . Great that the main pattern was free to try and the additional pattern purchased gave me so many options . Great value and very versatile . Like all itch to stitch it sewed up beautifully .

  12. Kay

Lovely addition to the Uvita top

  13. Liz

I am having fun trying out all the Uvita options. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The fit was good after choosing the size according to my measurements. The sleeves were rather long, but that’s an easy fix. I’ve made one in cotton jersey, one in a fluffy knit and one in a medium weight cotton jersey with cowl neck and cuffs.

  14. Rosemary

very helpful when trying to print just one or two of the add-ons

  15. Jennifer Cumming

    Love the pattern add-on. Thanks.

  16. annette

    Beginner friendly easy sew.

  17. Kadri

I love this add-on to already really good basic and free pattern Uvita. I made the cuffs, used the hood, bottom band and the kangaroo pocket. My new hoodie is so comfortable and perfect! Thank you!

  18. undukas

I’m just finishing up my Uvita with the add-on and I have to say – all these addition make Uvita even greater. I made the thumbhole cuffs, hood and kangaroo pocket with bottom band. I’m really happy with my new hoodie and I’m going to wear it a lot!

  19. amy

Great addition to the Uvita top!!!

  20. Andrea

    Fashionable and easy to customize.

  21. Kelly

    I love this pattern!

  22. Lisa

Nice pattern. It was a little confusing to switch between the Uvita pattern instructions and the add-on instructions, and to know where to start. I also had a bit of a hard time figuring out how the patch pockets were applied. It was very simple, but the instructions could be more straight forward. It would have been helpful to have a statement such as “the pockets are sewn on the front with raw edges flush at the sides and bottom, and the center edges turned under. The edges will be sewn into the side seam and the bottom will be turned up with the hem.”

  23. Gini

Easy and cute I love this pattern

  24. I made this with a snaggy fabric which was truly awful to work with. And I was bowled over by the amazingness of the result! The body shape is truly superb, very flattering, and the statement sleeves are really stunning. I did make the cuffs much shorter and the sleeves longer, as I felt that balanced better. I also added my usual 2” to the body to match my long back. I also love the neckline.

  25. Tecla

    Another innovative design–love the “mitts”.

  26. Donna Harder

I just made the uvita top with cuffs and the floppy collar! Very nice!

  27. Louise

    Simple but good explanation

  28. Lynne

    Loved this!

  29. Anonymous

I made this one right away! Great instructions and a nicely drafted pattern!

  30. sue

I love this addon to the Uvita pattern. Itch to Stitch patterns are a pleasure to sew, they fit together perfectly and the Instructions are easy to follow.

  31. Chanelle

I love Itch to Stitch Patterns and designs. I have bought several and they are easy to follow and very true to size.

  32. Verona

Excellent. Really pleased with the pattern for hood and kangaroo pocket. It is so great to have layers so I only need to print my size. Fits beautifully. Only comment is that with the hood attached, the neck line is a bit high at the front – so it feels a little as if it is pressing into my neck. Not a big problem, but I will probably move it down an inch the next time and alter the hood pattern. Thank you. Verona

  33. Anne

    très bon patron

  34. Kim

    Great add on package.

  35. Anonymous

Love ITS patterns! Classic with a touch of trend; easy to work with, but most importantly, easy access to pattern designer for quick questions. Absolutely love Kennis!

  36. Anonymous

It would be nice to be able to print the pattern from ‘preview’ on my computer, since that’s where my computer(an i-Mac) prints from. I have to ask my husband print the pattern on his computer( a pc).

  37. Sandy

Great pattern and instructions. Love the thumb hole cuff!

  38. Lizzy

I thought this was a great idea. I have already made the basic shirt and found it an excellent fit. Looking forward to trying lots of variations.

  39. Maria Luísa

I really enjoy the way this add-on allows to create different views when combined with the Uvita Top. We can make it sporty, casual or even dress it up! It has notches to guide you, shorten/lengthen lines and it explains how to grade between sizes to give a perfect fit.

  40. Ruth

The cuff with the thumb opening is functional and professional looking.

  41. jen.ballif

This pattern has amazing value! I made one with the thumb hole cuffs and hood and it is now my winter staple.

  42. c

Love the hood and front pocket. Easy instructions. I love my make.

  43. mireille

Hoping that it will come in bigger size than size 20 but lovely pattern and so many things you can add on

  44. Mary

I thought this was a nice addition to the original piece. I don’t have a lot of sewing experience, so patterns like this–those that build on another pattern that I already have–help me to see that I can do more with my patterns.

  45. Kirsti

Directions were clear, add-ons were cute, final product turned out well. Thanks!

  46. Saskia

Greet ADD-ON pakket, unfortunately I think the thumb holes thickness is to much. Also the with off the cuffs are to wide.
The hoody and kangaroo poket are great.

  47. Frances

Specially love the floppy neck – have used it already

  48. Becky

    These patterns are shear perfection

  49. Angela

love this pattern. You can create so many outfits – very versatile.

  50. Dawn

Great variations on a free pattern. Clear and precise instructions.

  51. susan

    absolutely lovely

  52. Heike

Eine sehr schöne Ergänzung für das freebook Uvita. Wie immer alles perfekt beschrieben.

  53. Cynthia

    Excellent pattern, as always!

  54. Anonymous

Very excited to have these add one!

  55. Catherine

The add-ons were good. Having a variety of options to go with a basic t-shirt is really practical. So many different tops for one pattern!! I made a tencel/cotton version with the standup collar. Very cozy. I’ve got my eyes on the hood and kangaroo pocket for a nice casual top. The instructions and drafting were excellent as always. The neckline of the Uvita top without the add-ons (the original) sits a little funny on me at the neckline and I can’t quite tell if it is a fit issue and, if so, what the issue is. I have broad and fairly muscular shoulders.

I just want to say that I love your patterns. I learn a new technique each time, have a great fit without much alteration, and the styles suit me (feminine, stylish and modest with a hint of flirty). About the fit….I only have to shorten and, sometimes, put in a sway back adjustment. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that. To get a Big 4 pattern to fit almost requires re-drafting there are so many fit issues. Thank you!!!

  56. Brigetta

So far every Itch to Stitch pattern has been exceptional. The instructions are easy to follow and even a novice sewer can make an item easily. I am always waiting in anticipation for the email to say the next Itch to Stitch pattern is available!

  57. Linda

This add on package is amazing! So many wonderful options to change up an already great pattern, the Uvita top! I love all of the Itch to Stitch patterns that I have tried!

  58. Anonymous

The add-ons just increase the uses i have for this patterrn, and easily. This pattern was lateday great, but now i can make more versions super-quick!

  59. Serina

Looks lovely my daughter want the top

  60. Anonymous

  65. Jenelle

    Great additions

  66. Suzanne

  67. Anonymous

Love the add-on pattern. Made the bell-sleeve version with the mock neck and my 16 year old immediately took it and I haven’t seen it since. Maybe I’ll get it back when she asks me to do her laundry…..

  68. Chelsea

It’s wonderful, as usual! I reccomend your patterns to everyone!

  69. Isabel

I love the Unita top and its Add-on! I have made several already 🙂
