  1. Oyinda

Lovely skirt pattern and excellent instructions as always! Made in Kobe twill cotton in grellow because I really liked the color of the skirt in the pattern description. Turned out beautifully! I’m 5’10 and lengthening 1-3/4” brought the skirt just above my knees. As someone else mentioned, the trickiest part was sewing the belt loops. Switching to a heavier jeans needle and giving a gentle push worked for me. I needed a full spool of thread because of all the topstitching, which gave the skirt a very refined look.

  2. Kadri

Oooh! Taroko skirt is another hit! My first one is unfortunately ruined (too hot wash), so now I plan to make a second one from denim as I really really need one in my wardrobe.

  3. gloria

Made this 2 times-once attaching knit shorts to turn it into a skort. Perfect for pickleball! Again, great instructions and fit!

  4. Liz

Great pattern, really easy to follow. The only problem I had was putting the belt loops on – I couldn’t get through that many layers of fabric, even with a jeans needle. I just left them off though & it makes no difference.

  5. Nadia

Yet another amazing pattern! The fabric I chose was very stiff and unlikely to stay down when I walked so I elected to fully line the skirt and it turned out lovely. It was my first real fly and I was shocked that it came out perfectly. What excellent instructions! I plan to sew it again in the future.

  6. heathergrogg

I love this skirt! The construction is fun and the end result was fantastic. I made it out of mid-weight denim, and it’s sure to become one of my wardrobe staples. I made an 8, and adding 3 inches to the hem was my only modification (I’m 5’11”. Thanks for another great pattern.

  7. Anna

This is my first Itch to Stitch pattern. The pattern has very clear instructions. I have average sewing skills and managed to blend two pattern sizes (2 and 6) together for a smaller waist. I love having the pockets and the fit is great.
I have just finished making this skirt in a woven stretch cotton for playing golf.

  8. suzanne

Great skirt pattern easy and a good fit straight away

  9. Tanja Taale

This is the first time that I do not need to change anything on a skirt pattern. I made a size 10.
The first skirt is almost ready, and I definitely will make two more before I go on holiday in July, one with topstitching and edgestitching in a contrast color and the other one from a multicolor fabric.
So, the pattern itself is very good, and your instructions made it go like a breeze. As indicated above, it gives me back my sewing Mojo.
The other pattern I still need to make, so I will not yet comment on that one.

Excellent instructions, loved the construction of the fly. I would say I’m a confident beginner sewist and this was a great pattern for me. I made a size 14 based on my measurements and it fit nicely. I was able to get the skirt out one yard of fabric, but had to make the inner waistband out of another fabric in my stash. Thank you for such a cute skirt pattern!

  11. Gisele

I am a average sewer. I think this skirt is just right for my skills. Thank You.

  12. Maria

Happy with Muslin fit working on fashion fabric but it looks amazing so hoping for same results.

Made 2 both are perfect staples for my ever increasing wardrobe. Instructions easy to follow. Only my usual tweaks done. Will be making many more x

    It is a nice pattern.

  15. Mary Ellen

First off, overall I love your patterns. My only complaint/suggestion would be the ability to use for projector sewing. I’m enjoying the ability to cut the pattern directly to fabric without printing. My problem is trying to make personal adjustments (ie: shorten length and grade between sizes). While I understand and respect your need to maintain the integrity of your labors I need to create workarounds to make the process work for me. Thanks for creating such wonderful designs and i look forward to your next pattern.

  16. Sabine

Perfect pattern, perfect instructions, perfect fit. No more words needed, it is just a Itch-to-Stitch pattern ❤️❤️❤️
