  1. catrin

I bought this top for it’s interesting bust line which fits me really well. On my muslin I had to change some minor things (lower the neck lines, enlargen the armholes) and I shortened it quite a bit to have the seam at the high hip. I have made 2 and will use it also as a hacking base 😄size 6C.

  2. Kadri

Santorini tank is lovely with clear lines. It’s fitted and it’s a great basic to have.

  3. gloria

Made this for my very busty, plus sized daughter. The first one in a cotton, the second lengthened into a dress out of a firm, navy blue knit. It looks so awesome on her. Can’t wait to make one for me!

  4. Jill

There is one section I am trying to still decifer the instructions on, but other than that, I really like the pattern.

  5. Karen

Beautiful, just beautiful. I made mine in a solid linen too, just like in your picture. Thanks for the inspiration.

  6. Catherine

Great pattern instructions and lovely design!!

  7. Eileen

I loved this pattern as soon as I saw it. I like the dart and the button side fastener is unusual and adds to its charm. It was easy to make up and I’m going to do another one but with a zipped back

  8. Mary

Love the style and fit. Only had to make a slight adjustment for my one shoulder that has more slope than the other.

  9. Jo

I love the styling and especially the fact that the pattern came with cup sizes. It has given me confidence to get back into making my clothes. The pattern was easy to print with excellent instructions all through the printing and sewing process. I would say the size is still slightly generous. I’m delighted with my first Itch to Stitch garment and will certainly be making more Santorini tops and more Itch to Stitch patterns.

  10. lenney.alderfer

Nice design! The princess seams combined with the cup sizes allow for a fit which is flattering for a wide range of body silhouettes. And the side buttons are such a point of interest! Well done!

  11. Gill

This is a super pattern !

  12. Angela

I like the classy lines of this top. I did make mine without the buttons and fits well. It has a nice finished off facing that looks professional and neat. Fits many body types and perfect for warmer weather.

  13. Anne

This is another well drafted and designed pattern from Itch to Stitch. This fit is excellent without modifications and the instructions are clear. I made one from mid weight white linen.
There is a bit of hem curl, so next time I’ll consider making a faced hem.

  14. Martine

It is very beautiful pattern and easy for made

  15. Mariann

    A good classic top

  16. Pauline

The top sew up quickly. It fits like a dream. I made one adjustment by lowering the bust point and I am over the moon with my new top. I have three more already cut out.
    Highly recommend this pattern.

  17. Tara

Love the patterns and style! It would be great if there were links to sources for printing services for the patterns, fabrics, etc. Some types or specialty fabrics are very difficult to find even on line. Thank you.

  18. Ann

This pattern was well drafted. The instructions were easy to follow as well. I followed the size recommended and it fit well with only slight adjustments.

  19. Darlene

    Awesome fit! Love it!

  20. Carolyn

Very clear instructions. My top looks great.

  21. Cynthia

This fits perfectly and looks so professional!

  22. Anonymous

Wish front seams were a little closer together. I’m larger sizes seems to make hips look larger. Love the side opening w/ buttons

  23. Patricia

    Love this pattern style!

  24. Pamela

Only one yard of gorgeous linen for a tank to pack for a trip of a lifetime ( indeed, I am taking linen, , bc I love it!!) and this was it!

  25. J

Made size 18DD only adjust was apex level, gravity!! not the pattern. Love the shape, very flattering, perfect for everyday or fancy, depending on fabric. I sure to be making more, bought some linen and cotton lawn already, used double gauze for first one.
    Love it.

  26. rebecca

I loved the pattern and appreciated the very detailed instructions. In fact, I made a second blouse from the same pattern. I highly recommend this pattern. Youtube videos of the “burrito method” helped understand the facing instructions for the armhole seam.

  27. Celeste

beautiful blouse. great for any body type or age. Love it

  28. Paula

Great instructions, loved the princess lines & that it was for wovens!

  29. Sandra

This is a very well drafted pattern. It’s really cute too!

  30. Katherine

Your patterns are so well thought out and this beautiful tank is no exception. With minimal adjustments I am able to have a fitted garment I’m proud to wear. Thank you

  31. Lyn

I love this top so much. I’ve made three already.

  32. Hansie

Love this tank! It’s very easy to sew and the instructions are spot on !

  33. Shana

I have made one top with some fabric I brought back from Milan a few years ago. It turned out well, with the pattern’s measurements fitting almost perfectly. I think next time I use it I’ll make some small adjustments at the top of the side seams but otherwise was very happy with this pattern.

  34. LYNNETTE

I fell on love with this top the minute I saw it. I was thrilled to finally find a tank top pattern with a higher neckline and other unique design features like the side buttons. I made it immediately and as always the fit is perfect and the instructions were detailed and easy to follow. An all around winner.

  35. Melanie K.

I love this pattern. So cute and sophisticated with excellent instructions and easy to execute!

  36. Barbara

It fit perfectly with the C cup pattern!

  37. Lyn

Yet another super pattern from ITS!

  38. Karin

Stunning design and pattern instructions are clearly laid out. Will be making a second one soon!

  39. A

Fantastic, it’s my 3rd Itch to Stitch pattern with cup sizes. I choose 4D, it always fits like a glove, without gradation for the Santorini! I make a muslin with fabric that I want to wear because there is a good chance that it will fit without alterations other than the shoulders slope.

  40. Belinda

Such a stylish top and great fit

How to choose your size

  1. Determine your cup size—subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 1″ (2.5 cm), use A cup; 2″ (5 cm), use B cup; 3″ (7.5 cm), use C cup; 4″ (10 cm), use D cup; 5″ (12.5 cm), use DD cup.
  2. After determining the cup size, compare your bust circumference (fullest part) to the “Body Measurements” table. Using the corresponding row for your cup, choose the size that best fits your bust. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.
  3. Compare your waist circumference (narrowest part) to the “Body Measurements” table. Choose the size that best fits your waist. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.
  4. Compare your hip circumference (widest part) to the “Body Measurements” table. Choose the size that fits your hip best. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.
  5. It’s OK to use different sizes for the bust, waist and hip. The instructions for blending sizes are included in the pattern.
  6. If you are taller or shorter than 5’6” (168 cm), you should consider lengthening or shortening the garment. The instructions for lengthening or shortening are included in the pattern.
