Ik vind de naad op het achterbeen niet mooi

  2. Julie

I’ve had this pattern for a couple of years now and I’ve had the fabric I wanted to use also for a couple of years. I just didn’t think I could ever make pants that would fit me – size 10 in hips and 20 in waist. Yes, that’s right. Only the two waistband pieces needed to be adjusted to accommodate my belly. My test pair turned out a perfect fit even with the great disparity in the two sizes. I’m finally ready to cut into the stretch corduroy fabric.

  3. Nadia

The glowing reviews made me try this pattern and they were in fact underselling how great the pattern is! I was blown away by the excellent instructions and how perfectly everything fits together in the pattern. And I have a tough shape when it comes to jeans but all I did was adjust the length in two spots and I got perfectly fitting jeans! I immediately bought four more patterns from Itch to Stitch that I cannot wait to try!

  4. Suzan

My new favorite jeans! Easy to make and fit.

  5. Carol

I’ve found that your patterns fit perfectly the measurements for the size I chose was a perfect fit, I just had to lengthen it as I like my trousers to have a touched look at the hem. 👏🏽👏🏽👍

  6. Martha

Excellent pattern from Kennis Wong (as usual). I was very surprised by how few changes I had to make to the pattern to get a good fit. These are really attractive jeans and available in a tremendous size range.

  7. Lane

Nice pattern, easy to follow. Mine turned out a little tight but that was my fault for fabric choice. Gonna try with a more stretchy denim

  8. Heather

This pattern was so fun to make! I slimmed down the legs and they looked beautiful.

  9. Anonymous

    Great fit, easy to make!

  10. Rhian

What a great pattern my most flattering jeans ever, easy to make and easy to wear

  11. Debbie

These jeans are FANTASTIC! So simple to sew with clear instructions. I made a straight size 14 and they fit perfectly! I LOVE them and am going to make another pair for myself and also my daughters have requested a pair. They are super comfy! Thanks very much for a great pattern!

  12. Tammy

This is the first time I have made jeans that fit! I love them, they are sooooo flattering, comfortable and probably the best fitting pair of pants I have ever owned! I did not have to make any pattern adjustments either. I’ve made them with both 20% and 30% stretch denim and they both came out beautifully! Fantastic pattern and exceptional instructions. I will be making more of these for sure.

  13. Lori

I love the fit of these jeans, after making 2 adjustments for me, they are comfortable. I’ve also made some for my daughters, and they are loving them as well. Thank you for the nice pattern.

  14. Erika

Love this pattern, it was very easy to put together. I have received many complements on my two tops, I plan to make more for sure.

  15. Connie

The jeans were very easy to create. Excellent instructions.

  16. Tammy

These fit like a Glove! I have struggled with RTW I’ll-fitting jeans for Years! Sewed up a size 8 and did not need to alter the fit! Love them! It’s as if they were drafted just for me!

  17. Dianne

    Get fit and great instructions

  18. Lucy

Pattern was easy to follow. Will use again.

  22. Judy

I’m in love with Itch to Stitch patterns! They fit me so well. I hardly have to make any adjustments. The instructions are so on point and clear to understand. Also I find Kennis’ designs to be amazingly beautiful with so many possibilities. Her designs fit any generation. Can’t wait to see what she comes out with next! 😍

  23. Anonymous

Love these jeans! Planning to make more for the cooler months.

  24. christina

‘Thankyou’ doesn`t nearly cover my gratitude for this pattern – it’s fabulous! even my muslin is better than any patterns I have previously tried. With a couple of tweaks I now have a jeans patterns and a wonderful pants pattern. Absolutely thrilled.

  25. Beryl

I haven’t worn jeans for years….but these pull on ones are the bomb! Just finishing the Second pair.

  26. Bee

This was a superb pattern, beautiful drafting, clear and full instructions and my jeans turned out perfectly. My first pair of jeans and the best fitting pants I’ve ever worn. ❤️

  27. Elizabeth

I really love the waist and the fact that no would know and love the fit.

  28. Terri

These are so attractive and comfortable! I made mine with a thinner, stretchy fabric and left them a little looser per my preference. No zipper makes them easier. Attractive wide, flat waistband. I will make more!

  29. Joanne

LOVE THEM!!! Can’t take them off. So easy. Without the faff of flys and zippers. Thank you!!! 💕🙋🏻

  30. Anonymous

I’m hesitant about using an indie designer as I’ve had bad experiences in the past,ie. pdf pattern doesn’t line up correctly, markings ,if any ,don’t line up, sketchy directions etc. but this was a very professionally made pattern and even a beginning sewer like myself was able to make it. Thank you for doing the research and actually using pattern testers! These jeans were a lot of fun to make.

  31. Helen

I’m so pleased with my finished jeans, they fit perfectly and I will definitely be making more. The detailed instructions result in a very professional-looking pair of jeans. They aren’t a quick sew but neither are they too difficult as long as you practice your topstitching first!

  32. Leonie

    Great pattern and service

  33. Paula

It was a challenge to fit it to my curves, but the pattern is great. I will definitely make more of these!

  34. Jana

I love this pattern, my first pants ever. Thanks to clear instruction I didn’t have any issue with fitting. They are really comfy and easy to sew. I already make two of them, one as a pair of jeans and one as a outdoor pants from softshell

  35. Elmary

An amazingly well drafted pattern !

  36. Marilyn

    Great Fit; doesn’t fall down!

  37. s mitchell

I had problems printing it out to my size . So I had to print all the pages but it was worth it

  38. Amanda Maixner

I love this pattern! Easy to follow instructions and the end result is so comfy! Highly recommend

  39. Sarah

I thank you for the convenience of printing from home my purchased pattern . At first I did get a bit scattered about how to print my pattern got it done and together. My first time making jeans an a lil nervous hopefully it really look like a easy pattern to follow I’m sure it’s going to be awesome experience. I’ll be showing my finished project when I’m done. 👍

  40. Faith

I love these pants! I am new to seeing and this was my first time making fitted pants, let alone jeans. Hence my choosing a pattern without zip or button! I made size 4 in a stretch corduroy and shortened the leg by 3 inches, to just above my ankle. Perfect! I love the top stitching on the back of each leg, which I find very flattering and helps pants keep their shape. Such a perfect fit. After making these, I feel more confident to try making some traditional jeans with all the hardware. Great pattern and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Will definitely make these again!

  41. kate

I love the fit of these. It’s rare for any pattern to fit without alterations but this one did!

  42. Anonymous

The instructions where very easy and it was easy to sew. Loved it

  43. Encarnita

    Greatpattern

  44. Virginie

The fit is perfect and no alteration for me, which is really rare !

  45. Betty

    These are great patterns

  46. Sarah

A wonderful pattern to work from. My notches matched up even when I’d forgotten about them. A truly beautiful pair of jeans….so long as I’m not in them. I have fitting issues for my pear butt, but that’s no reflection upon the pattern. I thoroughly enjoyed making these, especially all the top stitching.

  47. julie

Love them so comfy and a great fit

  48. jnjewel

This is the first pattern I tried from you. I love the fit!! I love this pattern. I love it so much that I made the free pattern, Uvita top to match. I love that, too. Thank you very much for the free pattern! I can’t wait to find the next pattern to order.

  49. Easy to follow instructions and nice fit.

  50. Mariette Stadler

So easy to follow really worth investing in these patterns also very well explained even for a beginner…thank you so much 🤗

  51. Anonymous

I like that I can only print the size I want.

  52. Jaime

Instructions easy to follow and needs little adjustment.

  53. jdweave

This is a great pattern for starting to sew jeans. The fit is very accurate and very comfortable. The center back seam is an attractive style feature and really adds to the shape. One pair will never be enough!

  54. Julia

    Love this pattern.

  55. ajdre51

I have NEVER had a pair of pants fit straight “out of the envelope” but it happened today for the first time after sewing for 40+ years. So excited! Exceptionally drafted pattern with excellent instructions and order of construction. Next, I plan on attempting a slightly dressier version by subbing welt pockets for back patch pockets and omitting most of the top stitching to mimic a favorite pair of Anne Taylor slacks that also have the back center seam. Wish me luck!!

  56. Karol

The Mountain View jeans are my first Itch to Stitch pattern and my first attempt at jeans. I have to say I am very happy with both. The only thing that I would change is to be able to place the back pockets a little higher. Other than that, fabulous.

  57. Billie

I saw these jeans reviewed by several sewists on YouTube and was curious about the hype. I use commercial patterns and have been sewing for almost 60 years. The pdf for these jeans with the ability to print only the size you want was new to me. I loved it!
I recently made a pants block and used that to help with the fit on this pattern. I used stretch corduroy for my trial pair. After getting the pockets in and sewing the inseam and outside seams I tried them on. I made a crotch adjustment on the pattern, and when trying them on I thought I had really messed up. But I decided to keep going and figure out when finished what I needed to do to correct the fit. I’m so glad I did. Once the waistband was on, I realized how much that added to the rise and THEY FIT PERFECTLY! I am thrilled with these jeans. I want them in several colors and fabrics. They are so comfortable. I plan to make the skinny leg adjustment on my next pair. My biggest challenge is locating fabrics with the correct amount of stretch. Thank you for a fantastic pattern. I highly recommend it.

  58. Nancy

I’m still taping and tracing. I would be willing to pay more $ for a pre-printed paper pattern. These digitals are so very time consuming!

  59. Deborah

Currently in the process of making the jeans. So far things have gone well. The hardest part was putting the whole pattern together. I used another reviewers suggestion to put the 2 back pattern pieces together to make one piece. I didn’t want a back seam up the leg and it worked great.

  60. Great pattern, good fit

  61. N K

Cannot say enough about how much I love this pattern! Not only was the fit spot on, but the instructions were absolutely easy to follow. I love the way the instructions gave cues like…”left as worn…” simple cues like that was a game changer for ease in sewing. I made two pairs of stretch corduroy jeans and this weekend I will make a pair of denim.
Now I want to try the Zamora blouse!

  62. Kathy

Absolutely love these jeans. The fit is perfect and they are so comfortable. I can’t wait to make another pair.

  63. Jacqueline

I love this pattern I can make several pairs at one time very easy thank you

  64. Susan

For a very long time I could not find RTW jeans that fit me. I have a long torso and odd inseam length. For the first time in years I have jeans that fit. The Mountain View jeans are easy to sew (I’m a confident beginner), the instructions are easy to follow. I have already ordered more denim so I can have a closet full! Highly recommend!!!

  65. Marleen

    I love this pattern!

  66. Cathy

Good fit, comfortable and flattering. Easy enough to make in a day. Very happy.

  67. Susan

This is a really easy pattern to sew. I made some changes – I didn’t like the seam down the back of the legs so I just cut it out as one piece. Very easy to change style of jean to skinny.

  68. Christine

Made the jeans with a few minor adjustments – shortened and bootlegged it. Turned out really well, great fit, looks good and super comfortable. Construction was easy and straight forward. I found, for me, the directions for sewing on the elastic slightly confusing. Some logical thinking prevailed and it was a pretty easy sew from there. Have plans now to make more. Thanks for a great pattern Kennis!

  69. Sanet

    If fits like a dream

  70. Trudy

    Great instructions!

  71. Anonymous

The best pattern ever ?. Just made a small modification to skinny jenas.

  72. Carol

    great pattern with all sizes.

  73. beth

what a great pattern, almost finished with my first pair of MV pullon jeans. Planning a second pair……….yummy fit. Thanks!

  74. wytee.sunray

This is my first time making jeans, especially in stretch denim. The pattern instructions were easy to follow and the fit is fantastic. I did make them slimmer. Very happy. Anne

  75. Yolanda

This was my first experience with ordering a pattern from ITS but it will not be my last. Such an easy and pleasurable experience. Thanks from a new loyal customer.

  76. harrietneal

I love these jeans! I have made regular jeans before, including a cloned pair, and these were the easiest to make and they fit so well. The instructions are very well written, and the layering feature for printing your size was awesome!

I am wearing them now and don’t want to take them off.

  77. notbarbarabush

These are the best jeans by far. The waistband doesn’t flip over when you bend over or sit. You don’t have to hike up your pants after standing. They stay put. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my jeans already.
I used the skinny jean directions and pinned out the excess on the bootleg. Custom-fit skinny jeans!
I also ran out of fabric and did a moto hack with some topstitching. I love that you can use this pattern to make so many differently styled jeans. It’s quite a versatile pattern.
As always, the drafting and instructions are top notch.
Everything I make from Itch to Stitch is just so perfect for me. I love having my own custom wardrobe with clothes that actually fit my body. Thanks, Kennis!

  78. nsweet159

I’m pretty sure I’ve worn my jeans every.single.day this week and I bought fabric to make more! Like stevenjswanson, I also did the lining backwards and everyone loves when I show them my cute “lemon” pockets. I did overlap the paper pattern for the back seam by an inch to get rid of the seam in the back as I don’t think I could have stood having a seam down the back of my leg. I was worried this trick may not work, but I figured worst thing I can do is mess up $10 worth of fabric. It turned out perfectly. On to making my next pair! This was my very first article of clothes I made alone. The directions are very well written. My jeans look completely store bought and are so super comfortable to wear. Thanks for such a great pattern! My only recommendation to someone that is a newbie to sewing garments like me, is to make sure you have the correct thread. My muslin looked awesome, but after a few hours of wearing them I was already busting seams open. Totally my fault as I didn’t pay attention to the thread I used but I remedied that problem with my second pair.

  79. jacky22williams

I love these, have made 3 pairs so far and more planned. Great fit with minimal adjstment. I want to mke some crops now – hope they work!

  80. stevenjswanson

Love these! No muffin top. No buttcrack. Holds everything in. Easy pattern to follow (although I did the lining of the pockets backwards and I like my lining showing, it’s cute). Ordered more fabric and am going to make more!

  81. Lone Thomsen

I never knew I needed pull-on jeans, but now that I have these, i realize I did. They are really comfortable and stay in place, yet they look great like a proper pair of jeans. Now I need these in more colors….uhh, and also in stretch corduroy.

  82. crystal443.rice

So I keep going to pull my jeans back up into place… because I’ve had to do that for so many years, it’s an unconscious habit… and they are ALREADY in place. Jeans that stay in place sitting, standing, walking…. I LOVE them!!

How to choose your size

  1. Compare your waist circumference (narrowest part) to the “Body Measurements” table. Choose the size that best fits your waist. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.
  2. Compare your hip circumference (widest part) to the “Body Measurements” table. Choose the size that fits your hip best. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.
  3. It’s OK to use different sizes for the waist and hip. The instructions for blending sizes are included in the pattern.
  4. If you are taller or shorter than 5’6” (168 cm), you should consider lengthening or shortening the garment. The instructions for lengthening or shortening are included in the pattern.
