  1. Danielle

This blouse is beautiful. Turned out perfectly. I used rayon, which made the construction a little tricky, but I’m very happy with it.

  2. Martha

These patterns are great. I have very few adjustments to make and the style is always pleasing

  3. Irene

    Lovely easy to sew blouse

  4. Angie

I love these patterns. I’ve used many patterns from independent designers but the patterns from Itch to Stitch are head and shoulders above the rest. Great designs, size layers available for printing, very clear and consise instructions and affordable.

  5. Robyn

It just fits beautifully with no alterations apart from the length as I’m a bit short

  6. LORRIE

I’m always confident in the fit with your patterns .

  7. Anonymous

Easy to follow instructions..Great sizing range ..looks stunning on

  8. Sallie

I made a muslin and need to go up a size. The instructions are great.

  9. Sabine

This is a beautiful and very flattering pattern.
I love, love, love it!!!! Sewed the top first, now some dresses will follow.
The instructions are quite excellent as always with Itch to Stitch. So you can implement even the tricky details with a little patience absolutely perfect.

  10. Olga

I would like to have more neckline options. Round, scooped , V neck. I like the draft of this pattern. It fits me well in size 12.

  11. Ginny

I love the Azore top. It was easy to make with great instructions. I definitely will make another. Also then tried the Busan top and, oh my gosh, fell in love with that pattern too!

  12. Ann

Struggled slightly with the front yolk

Material

Primary Fabric Lightweight, soft, flowy woven fabric with no stretch such as lightweight crepe, challis, silky, satin, georgette, charmeuse. Avoid fabric with a crisp hand.

Interfacing Lightweight fusible woven or weft insertion interfacing

Other Materials

  • One 1/2” (1.25 cm) button
  • Two small spools (11 yards/10 meters) of elastic thread

Fabric Requirements

Most natural fibers shrink in the wash; be sure to have enough fabric. The requirements below assume that the fabric is already pre-shrunk. The interfacing also needs to be pre-shrunk—soak and hang dry before using.

How to choose your size

  1. Determine your cup size—subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 1″ (2.5 cm), use A cup; 2″ (5 cm), use B cup; 3″ (7.5 cm), use C cup; 4″ (10 cm), use D cup; 5″ (12.5 cm), use DD cup.
  2. After determining the cup size, compare your bust circumference (fullest part) to the “Body Measurements” table. Using the corresponding row for your cup, choose the size that best fits your bust. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.
  3. Compare your waist circumference (narrowest part) to the “Body Measurements” table. Choose the size that best fits your waist. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.
  4. Compare your hip circumference (widest part) to the “Body Measurements” table. Choose the size that fits your hip best. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.
  5. It’s OK to use different sizes for the bust, waist and hip. The instructions for blending sizes are included in the pattern.
  6. If you are taller or shorter than 5’6” (168 cm), you should consider lengthening or shortening the garment. The instructions for lengthening or shortening are included in the pattern.
