I’m so excited to make these, I have a medium weight denim. I love the idea of the pocket lining extensions going to the fly front. What would be a good fabric to provide some “tummy” support?
Hi Eileen, you can use non-stretch lightweight cotton.
I’m working on my muslin of the awesome Belleville Jeans and I have a question about the notch marks on the waistband and front pocket pieces. They go from a 12 to 16 and then to 14. I’m going to stop my sewing process until you let me know if this is right.
Thank you for your assistance! Can’t wait to make them, such a fun and different style!
Hi Paula, thank you for reaching out. I don’t understand what your question is. I don’t understand what you mean by the notch mark itself going from size to size. Please contact me here for your sizing questions: https://itch-to-stitch.com/contact-form/
Hi Kennis, I am referring to the pattern size marks for alignment ( different notch lines that represent the different sizes) On the pattern pieces I mentioned, they seem to be out of sequence. I wondered if it was a mistake? Just need clarification before I can continue with my muslin. Thanks Paula
Paula, I checked every notch on the Front Pocket (piece 10) and Waistband (piece 6) in the A4 and A0 files. I don’t see the notches on the Front Pocket or the Waistband out of order. You will have to send me an email showing me a screenshot. kennis.wong@itch-to-stitch.com
Kennis, I think my printer was on low ink, and the color difference didn’t show up very well. Sorry for the trouble & thank you for checking it!
Appreciate your help and quick response.
