Love this new pattern Kennis. Do you have any hints for making it asymmetric, i.e. changing the knot location to be to the side, instead of in the middle? Would you just make one tie or both longer? Or would you need to change anything else? This might be more flattering for “apple” figures, for instance, as opposed to pear figures …
Hi Samantha, I wouldn’t change the location of the tie because in a way, the waist darts are hidden in the ties. Moving to one side means one side has a dart and the other side doesn’t.
I would really like a picture of the back of the dress on someone. I’ve made the toile but don’t know where the yoke should sit on the shoulder.
Hi Victoria, I just posted a few photos of the back. I don’t have any photo where you can see the top of the Yoke on the shoulder.
Also, on the Yoke, there’s a notch at the neckline. The notch is where the shoulder should be.
