  1. Theresa

This was a lovely pattern and I’ll definitely make it again at some point, maybe playing around with collar variations. I made mine from a light viscose crepe with tons of drape and just enough structure for a soft ruffle and I used buttons instead of snaps. The fit is excellent. The pattern printed easily and fit together well. When sewing, all the notches and seams lined up perfectly. The instructions are clear and straightforward. Overall it’s a fairy simple pattern with a few fiddly bits that gives beautiful results.

I love this shirt! It is stylish and so easy to make. The directions were very thorough.

  3. Tiina

    Beautiful pattern

  4. gloria

Wonderful pattern with super clear instructions! I lengthened the arms a couple of inches for myself and it fit perfectly. Also made one for my very busty daughter. Awesome look!

  5. Pamela

I wanted to make a soft and feminine blouse to add to my capsule collection and didn’t want to fool around with a lot of tailoring/fitting. This blouse fit the bill ~ I can concentrate on the challenging fabric that I chose(very slippery!) instead. I appreciate the
ease of the raglan sleeve and the collar options, in fact I might sew this blouse in a lighter linen cotton blends for a fun change to a more fitted tailored blouse also. Itch to Stitch patterns are well done and expertly precise~

  6. Jul

    Great design!

  7. Michelle

The blouse came together very well for me. For my wearable toile I made the size 8 with the ruffled collar, my measurements put me in the size 10 bracket, but I was using more structured fabric and I didn’t want it to be too bulky. In my better fabric I will shorten the torso by about an inch. For reference I am 5’4”. I found the pattern instructions to be well written, I had no problems following them and am very happy with the outcome. Thank you for the pattern!

  8. Alison

I really enjoyed making this pattern; great instructions and inspiration from your testers. I made my dress along the lines of Whitney’s from TomKat Stitchery πŸ™‚

I made a toille of the dress and need to take it in a little bit as there is a bit too much volume in the skirt section for me πŸ™‚ I also made it with short sleeves for the heat of an Afirican summer, added in seam pockets and left off the frill on the collar for a simple silhouette. It is a fabulous dress!

I have cut out a shirt version as well which is patiently waiting on my sewing table !

    Thank you !

  9. Patty

    Beautiful and on trend!

  10. Sabine

    Looks fantastic

  11. Nelleke

The instructions make it so easy to put together this beautiful feminine elegant blouse !

  12. Pirjo

Very nice shirt. I love it.

  13. Tina

Itch to Stitch patterns always fit me really well, they are just drafted so well. I made the Majorelle blouse in a cotton voile and a light weight silk/cotton lawn and both are so pretty. I couldn’t be happier!

  14. September

I have not walked the pattern yet, but the presentation and the directions are superior!!! I also like that you take the time to explain the over bust spec and compare to the full bust. The major pattern companies never take the time to explain this and if you are a D cup like I am, the full bust measurement will force the x-shoulder, x-front and x-back to be too wide. Well organized. Kudos! Will keep you posted on how it goes.

  15. Manon

    Love it

  16. Sandra

If I could give this pattern 10 stars, I would! It’s an easy sew, & so elegant looking. There will definitely be more in my future. Goes well with anything from jeans to a formal skirt.

  17. Aimee

The fit of the blouse was just right. The instructions are excellent. The sewing went together very easily. It’s a beautiful top.

  18. Ε½aklin

    Beautiful pattern!

  19. raquel

I love your patterns, but this one doesn’t look good on me.

  20. Elsa

I had never associated “quick” with “shirt”, but this pattern is so quick to sew. No need to thrown a tantrum if you sewing machine misbehaves with buttonholes: use snaps on the front! Don’t fear sleeve plackets: the wrist is elasticated. The lovely ruffled collar is optional, but it’s so lovely you won’t want to miss it. The raglan sleeves are easily sewn.

  21. Diane

A beautiful shirt with excellent instructions!

  22. Lyn

I made this in a Rayon and it came out very nice with a good drape. Sizing was good and fitted well.

  23. Mags

love the style of this and the raglan is a good fit for my shoulders

How to choose your size

  1. Determine if you should use the regular bust front pieces or the full-bust front piecesβ€”subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 3β€³ (7.5 cm) or less, use regular bust; if it is more than 3" (7.5 cm), use full bust.

  2. Compare your bust circumference (fullest part) to the β€œBody Measurements” table. Using the corresponding row for your bust (regular bust or full bust), choose the size that best fits your bust. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.

  3. Compare your waist circumference (narrowest part) to the β€œBody Measurements” table. Choose the size that best fits your waist. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.

  4. Compare your hip circumference (widest part) to the β€œBody Measurements” table. Choose the size that fits your hip best. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.

  5. It’s OK to use different sizes for the bust, waist and hip. The instructions for blending sizes are included in the pattern.

  6. If you are taller or shorter than 5’6” (168 cm), you should consider lengthening or shortening the garment. The instructions for lengthening or shortening are included in the pattern.
