  1. Katrin Lansky

    Great instructions❀️

  2. Piret

the instructions were clear and it was easy to sew, tnx

  3. Janet

Great pattern I cannot wait to try again. Used white fleece back jersey that did not stretch a lot. Very cute top with a lot of possibilities. The cowl was too thick after doubling the layers so next time I will either use a lighter fabric for the cowl or make it with a single layer. The size 2 was a bit small after using the measurements. Instead of going on a diet, I will make the next size up:). The difficulty I have with knits is to match the measurements, thickness and stretch (ease) of the fabric. The biggest time waster was getting my serger to cooperate! Highly recommend this pattern.

  4. Sally

Great shaping – no ordinary sweatshirt!
You can use the pattern pieces to show off patterned fabric remnants you have in the centre front and back. Putting solid colours in the side panels makes for a flattering combination. I quickly made two and have a third cut out. I love this pattern!

  5. Candy

This is by far the highest quality pattern I have ever purchased online. The instructions are clear and detailed, the sizing is perfect and the (almost) finished product is very professional looking. No one will ever think it is home sewn. I will make more of these and buy more of your patterns in the future! Thank you!

  6. Talia

Looking forward to sew another great pattern!

  7. Brita

I made 4 of these for my family as birthday presents. They like them, but I just wasn’t a huge fan of how the thumbhole cuff worked, and I would have liked the shoulder point to be clearly marked on the pattern to help me compare sleeve length to the arm measurements (there was a dot, but I wasn’t sure if it was really the shoulder point or not).

My sister did tell me that she has been wearing hers multiple times a week though (and for good reason as it’s been -10 F here!) so I am overall pleased.

  8. Malene

a really nice pattern, easy to “construct” and sew.
Take care, this pattern is close to the body, so if you like to be confortable, do not hesitate to cut one size more.
As we say in France “when we love we don’t count” so I did 2 in mirror and bought fabric for two other ones

  9. Maggie

    Great pattern, great instructions!

  10. Anonymous

Love the fact you can use up smaller (leftover) pieces of fabric to make this.

  11. Anne

Lovely pattern and great for using up smaller pieces of fabric

  12. Debbie

    Love it

  13. Patricia

Love this pattern! Fits beautifully and goes together very easily. It has a very figure flattering shape and the color blocking or texture blocking adds to the attractiveness.

  14. Shelley

I really do not like hoodies. but this looks like a good pattern that I can easily convert it to more of a turtleneck. I like the extended size range.

  15. Jana

    Awesome hoodie!

  16. Julie

Very impressed with how easy the pattern pieces went together

  17. Erin

I love this pattern, the fit is perfect and the pattern is beautifully styled ……my new favourite 🀩

  18. jan

  19. Anna

    So nice

  20. Sheryl

This has become one of my favorites. Construction was easy to follow. Directions are amazing as always. Love Itch to stitch.

  21. Tine

Love the pattern, plan to make at least 2 more. Love the mix options, to use the left over fabric, from others projects

  22. Sharon

I loved sewing the sweatshirt version. The instructions were easy to follow and very clear.

  23. Peggy

I liked the shirt ,sews up nicely.just have to be carefully not to use stripes in front, the way the princess seams are drawn it make you look 3 times as wide in the hip area!

  24. Susan

The block you use fits me well, Instructions are clear, and the drafting of the pattern is great

  25. Anonymous

Fantastic used up my fabric odds and ends. Great fit.

  26. Janice

Great fit and well written instructions. With the variety of color blocking and neckline options, this is likely to become a favorite of mine.

  27. Krystal

I liked the color blocking of this pattern a lot. I was afraid that it would make me look much bigger as a busty plus size woman, but it looked nice. I love that I was able to sew size 32 and there is still room to go up a few notes sizes if I need to. The pattern instructions were clear and the little thumb cuff was a nice design element because without it the sleeves would fall down when I raise my arms, but I don’t prefer cuffs because of an old wrist injury. It’s perfect! PLEASE continue making more patterns with the larger plus sizes, we are significantly underrepresented in the PDF community.

  28. Laure

Great style! Flattering design an d fit yet sporty. Lots of attention to detail. Look at at all the color combos you could make! Great scrap buster. Plus several mix and match style options to make it your own. I really like the thumb cuff style; you do not end up with a gap when not in use. And pockets! I will add invisible zippers to the pockets for added security.

  30. Christine

From my experience with almost twenty of Kennis’s beautiful, wearable, practical designs, I can say that this new Lamma sweatshirt hits all of my ‘outdoor active lifestyle’ clothing pattern requests: excellent, clear instructions; easy to sew; and of course most importantly– a flattering & comfortable fit. I am overjoyed with this sewing pattern and its options, and you will be, too!

  31. Jenny

As always, a lovely pattern. A slight hiccup, it didn’t automatically go to my downloads folder as all the others have. A big positive that page numbers now correspond with the pattern pages, a huge plus, thank you.

  32. Jane Anderson

User friendly shopping experience. Easy to print pattern and clear instructions.

  33. ann

fits great. i like it a lot.

  34. Paula

Easy to follow pattern with beautifull result. I had to shorten sleeves and bodice a lot, but it doesn’t show.

  35. Donna Harder

I made up the hoodie as soon as I got the pattern and really like it! I live near a city which has very little for fabric so sewing especially during Covid is a challenge! Anything I sew has to come from my stash!

  36. Anonymous

    Great!

  37. Heike

I like it – it is not easy – I take my time. Whats about a summer coat/jacket? (Trench or similar to that?) :-))))

  48. Glenda

The Lamma hoodie and Sweatshirt is the best designed princess seamed Raglan sleeved hoodie. It has simply elegant design and features, with options of a hood or cowl, cuffs or thumb hole finished sleeves, and it’s fairly easy to make. Great for color blocking and stash busting or one solid color. The combinations are endless!

  49. Addrea

Great fitting pattern and fun to sew

  50. Debbie

As always, a great pattern with great instructions and perfect fit. Love the colour blocking option and thumb hole cuffs but the pockets are the cats meow!

  51. Sabine

Great pattern great fit, I loved to sew it πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

  52. Tanis

The fit on this hoodie is so great – the dart in the shoulder resolved so many fitting issues I usually have with raglan sleeves.

  53. Lynne

Beautiful pattern giving a great fit and good instructions. Highly recommend.

  54. Judy

A great pattern with so many options. Very quick sew and easy. Can’t wait to make another one. I loved the cowl neckline and would love to see a pattern created for a long tee shirt with cowl.

  64. angela

A really lovely pattern and an easy sew. The fit is so good too. I really love it. It is so worth buying this pattern and won’t hesitate to buy more Itch to Stitch as I am so impressed with how it fits and the ease of sewing.

  65. Gillian

I love all Itch to Stitch patterns and this is no exception. I made the cowl neck version and it is so cosy. I like the fact that it has some shaping and is not too boxy.

  66. Brigetta

I just love ITS patterns, they always fit so beautifully and Kennis does the most amazing instructions so a novice sewer can even use them

  67. rloharris

Great value pattern, I just printed the cowl version and have sewn 3 already and thinking of using all my french terry fabrics for Lammas! I also made a couple of athletic scarves with the cowl pattern piece. It’s easy to sew and the pocket design is so neat and clever

How to choose your size

  1. Determine if you should use the regular bust front pieces or the full-bust front piecesβ€”subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 3β€³ (7.5 cm) or less, use regular bust; if it is more than 3" (7.5 cm), use full bust.

  2. Compare your bust circumference (fullest part) to the β€œBody Measurements” table. Using the corresponding row for your bust (regular bust or full bust), choose the size that best fits your bust. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.

  3. Compare your waist circumference (narrowest part) to the β€œBody Measurements” table. Choose the size that best fits your waist. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.

  4. Compare your hip circumference (widest part) to the β€œBody Measurements” table. Choose the size that fits your hip best. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.

  5. It’s OK to use different sizes for the bust, waist and hip. The instructions for blending sizes are included in the pattern.

  6. If you are taller or shorter than 5’6” (168 cm), you should consider lengthening or shortening the garment. The instructions for lengthening or shortening are included in the pattern.
