HELEN –
I’ve just finished making a sleeveless, maxi-length version of the Ladera in a viscose linen printed fabric and it is everything I could wish for. Although I had to remove some width from the sides of the skirt pattern, below the hipline,
in order for it to fit on the fabric, the slightly straighter silhouette looks very elegant at that maxi length. I look forward to making some long sleeved winter versions at the original length and would whole-heartedly recommend this pattern.

I love the pattern!! It would be wonderful to have a expansion pack with three-quarter and long gathered sleeves that would make it a bit dressier.
Genevieve –
Super pattern!
kerry –
I love it but I haven’t had a chance to make it yet 😊
Alana –
This is a lovely pattern that comes together well. It’s my second Itch to Stitch pattern and I really like the drafting. I think this dress will look great in a variety of fabrics.
Kadri –
I LOVE my Ladera dress. I made mine using cotton and linen blend floral fabric and it is beautiful. I had no trouble fitting it to me, I just blended sizes.
Laura –
Great pattern and the instructions are easy to follow. Really appreciate the full bust option. Only adjustment was to lengthen the bodice piece so the elastic fell more at my waist.
Pamela –
This Pattern was released yesterday, and my linen fabric is in the wash right now~ ( first a muslin,,,) I can always depend on the pattern genius of Kennis to design clothing that suits my lifestyle~ smart but casual ~ This dress can be worn walking on the beach at night after dinner ,,as well as to a play downtown in the city ,,or to church on Sunday morning ~ Of course, styling it will affect the look, but this is what I appreciate most about her designs, they are classic but comfortable. All the ladies look beautiful in their dresses!!! Thank you Kennis!
