As an older woman this style makes me feel young.

  2. Janet

In the middle of sewing this pattern and very easy and straightforward.

  3. Yvette

This is such a lovely pattern. A little bit of tweaking needed to fit my shape, but upon asking for advice on fb page was answered by many and also by the pattern designer herself. Great customer service.

  4. Nellene

Lovely top! I made it for my daughter and she loves it

  5. caroline

    Super easy instructions! Thanks!

I was slightly disappointed with the fit of this one. I made a 4 with A cup based on my measurements, but the top feels very snug across my upper bust. I also find the armsye cut is very high into the underarm. I will try again but size up.

This is a very nice pattern although my first attempt wasn’t that great but practice makes perfect

  14. Judy

Can’t get enough of these patterns! They fit me perfect. Hardly have to do any adjustments! Every pattern so far I haven sewn fit amazingly.

  15. Rosemary

    A perfect, Summer blouse.

From the measurement instructions, I was size 6 (for major manufacturer patterns I am usually 14). I added a little over 1 inch to the lengthen line as per the instructions for people over 5ft 6inches tall. The instructions for this pattern and the way the pieces went together was nothing short of amazing and it was beautifully finished! However, the yolk was not long enough from the shoulder to bust for me and therefore the armholes are too tight (high in the armpit), and in the end, I don’t have a wearable top. Then I reached out to Kennis, and she gave me advice on how to fix it, so WOW-what great customer support is that?! I will now try inserting a piece to make the yolk strap longer, and next time, make the pattern piece a bit longer.

  17. Kelly

    I love this pattern!

  18. Miranda

I consider myself a beginner and was a little nervous about trying an intermediate level pattern. The directions were great and the links to the video tutorials were very helpful. I’m really happy with the end result and am looking forward to picking my next project and learning new techniques!

  19. melodie.kunegel

This top has a really nice fit and it doesn’t look baggy at all (which I was afraid of). I really like the shape of the underarms.

  20. Melissa

    fun pattern to sew

  21. Anonymous

Easy sew, however the sizing wasn’t quite correct for me I need to go down a size. Love this shirt even with the bit of gaping at the chest. (Hopefully it fits my Mom better ?).

  22. Christiane Siemon

Lovely pattern with wonderful instructions and a great fit! Love my Chirripo <3

    Not easy to use

  24. Christina

So cute and easy to sew up. I like that there is a sleeve option.

How to choose your size

  1. Determine your cup sizeβ€”subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 1β€³ (2.5 cm), use A cup; 2β€³ (5 cm), use B cup; 3β€³ (7.5 cm), use C cup; 4β€³ (10 cm), use D cup; 5β€³ (12.5 cm), use DD cup.
  2. After determining the cup size, compare your bust circumference (fullest part) to the β€œBody Measurements” table. Using the corresponding row for your cup, choose the size that best fits your bust. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.
  3. Compare your waist circumference (narrowest part) to the β€œBody Measurements” table. Choose the size that best fits your waist. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.
  4. Compare your hip circumference (widest part) to the β€œBody Measurements” table. Choose the size that fits your hip best. If you are between sizes, choose the smaller size if you like your garment more fitted; otherwise, choose the bigger size.
  5. It’s OK to use different sizes for the bust, waist and hip. The instructions for blending sizes are included in the pattern.
  6. If you are taller or shorter than 5’6” (168 cm), you should consider lengthening or shortening the garment. The instructions for lengthening or shortening are included in the pattern.
