Feel like an easy-to-sew and easy-to-fit project? I got you covered! The Cape Cod Capelet is cozy and chic. The sharp yet snuggly top has raglan seams that are sewn together at the end, forming an elbow-length, roomy sleeve. The fit of the Cape Cod Capelet is very forgiving, so you can make some as gifts even if you don’t know the precise measurements of the recipients. To make it extra luxurious, you can even use merino or cashmere sweater knit fabric!

How to choose your size
Quick and easy make with brilliant instructions.
Love this pattern! So easy to make and such great and easy to follow instructions! I will definately make some more. Thank you so much.
So quick and easy to sew! It doesn’t use much fabric (especially if you seam up the centre back). It could use a little length which is easy to do. I plan to make a couple more for cozy gifts!
Purchase process was seamless, easy and quick. I have made this as a M size and it was easy to sew, instructions were clear and final garment great to wear. Thank you. I look forward to making gifts for my family.
Love this pattern – I used a brushed rib knit in pistachio green from Boho Fabrics – medium size – a gift for my mom – it is gorgeous.
Pattern is super easy-to-use and pretty.
Love this pattern. I’ll be making several more of these for Winter
Love it! Made 2 already. A great make for gifts. (Quick and no sizing worries) 👏🏼👏🏼💕💕🎉💕🙋🏻
Great pattern! I lengthened it a couple inches. I did it in a diamond-pattern plaid, which absolutely works if you take the time to line it up. It’s comfy and simple. I will make some for family next year.
I love that I could make this as a gift without measuring the person!
This was a fun sew!
Love the design and instructions.

I lie your stylish patterns and comprehensive instructions. I particularly choose Itch to Stitch for the range of cup sizes.
This will be a great wear for fall, can be dressy or casual, a piece to choose instead of a Cardigan.

Patterns are ALWAYS great quality with excellent instructions
I love this pattern… I am making two for Christmas presents… Thank you!
Except I did not use the cowl neck pattern piece, changed it to a cowl pattern that I like better (which involved changing the neckline shape, added 2 ” to the length
As with other Itch to Stitch patterns this was a “must have” as soon as I saw it. Also made a muslin straight away. Now on the hunt for Jersey fabric to make many more (might also make for family members too!)
Such a flattering and cute pattern. I have made 4 and already know it will be a shop favorite ♥️ thank you for always having high quality, well drafter and instructed patterns .

Stylish pattern, easy to sew. Love it!
Stitching heavy sweater knit into capelets for fabulous holiday gifts.
As promised, a quick, fabulous sew. Every gal on my gift list (including me) is getting one!
Never thought I would wear something like this but was inspired by photos on the website so made one. So happy with it and it is a great make for gifts. My first make left my house with my daughter. ❤️
Awesome pattern! Planning to make a couple of these for gifts. The capelet would be easy to fit by estimating size and length I think.
Brilliant top and great instructions
I have already made two capelets. This is such a quick and fun make and it gets so many compliments. A huge winner for me!
I saw the pattern on Instagram and since I wanted to make a present for a friend, I immediately bought it and had planned to make a few more for Christmas presents. It’s a fast sew but getting the narrow hem totally even isn’t easy with thin sweater knits and neither is stitching the sleeve seams exactly in the ditch on both the front and the back. Should I ever make that pattern again, I would do the hem by hand and hand baste the sleeve seams. It probably would be easier if using a sturdier fabric like a French terry. I read that compared to the test makes I saw, the hem at the front was extended by two inches and that created an oval shape I’m not keen on. The circle look of the tester versions are more appealing to me. I’m still not sure if it’s good enough for a dear friend.
