How to choose your size
Sharyn –
Hi, I made a hack for the summer version (like Karina at Lifting Pins & Needles) as I live in Australia. Very easy to follow and love your patterns.
Sabine –
Like always an excellent pattern and excellent guidance 👍👍👍
Tracey –
I made mine in a fabric a bit thicker than was ideal, but it came out beautifully and the pattern was really easy to follow. I love the clear instructions and the ease of use. There are lots of examples of the pattern so you can see what it looks like in different colours and on different body shapes. My favourite TomKat Stitchery is very inspirational.
Elaine –
Added 4cm to length and it fitted perfect first time, will be making again soon
margaret –
Great pattern. I have made 2 of them, one in a heavier excellent.
Amanda –
easy to follow pattern and lovely, flattering results!
Jennifer –
I had to cut the cowl down 3 inches as I didn’t have quite enough fabric. It’s still plenty large. My first go at downloading and taping a pattern. Went together easily…both pattern and fabric. A little on the large side. I think I could go down a size but all in all I’m really quite happy with it. Very comfy and cozy.

I made Bellavista for my pregnant belly. I added length to the back and side fronts, so I could wear it with leggings too. I didn’t have to make it any larger to fit my baby bump. I also added invisible zippers to the front so I could use it for nursing. It’s a great pattern for all the pregnant ladies who don’t want to make too many changes to the patterns, but still want to be comfortable in their clothes 🙂

Love love love!
Jana –
This top has such beautiful drape. Fits perfectly.

Great fun pattern.
Delphine –
it’s a lovely top. Princess seams is a must for an extraordinary fitting. Cowl neck gives a nice touch to it too
Jean –
Love the cowl neckline and the “not cowl” option
Ann –
I absolutely love this pattern – have made 3 so far! Kennis’ very clear instructions guided me through my first experience with sweater knits with excellent results. The 00 is a tad roomy on me (5’1″ and very petite) but I like the swingy fit and also like the length just as it is. (Did a narrow shoulder adjustment and shortened the arms though.) The cowl adds style and keeps you warm!
Cynthia –
I love the top, easy and fast. A top to make when you need something very stylish quickly to make you feel good.
K L Nield –
Lovely, loose fitting top. I didn’t have enough fabric so mine is sleeveless with a less generous cowl. I’m really looking forward to making the full version!
Stephanie –
I love the neck
karen –
I’ve made to so far. Love it. Patterns fit very well
Rosemary –
A very flattering neckline.
Rebecca –
This is a quick project with clear directions. I look forward to gifting the finished shirt to my friend.

Flattering shape and design lets me use smaller pieces of special fabrics
Janice –
wonderful pattern.

Simple and sophisticated!!

Love the Bellavista Top
The Bellavista Top is a great, quick and easy to make pattern. The only issue that I had is that the back is a little bit wide. I will fix this on the pattern for the next top.
Anne –
easy and attractive
hollymabe –
Very flattering and comfortable.
Elaine –
I have made up the top and am very pleased with it. However, piecing the pattern pieces together was troublesome. Even though I had checked that the printed pages fitted with the inch square as instructed, the pages did not fit together well.
Kennis Wong –
Hi Elaine, make sure that you choose “Auto Portrait/Landscape” in your print dialog box. Cheers!
Lydie –
My go-to sweatshirt for fall and winter. How to be cosy and feminine and classy… Many ways to sew it depending on the fabric!
–
I love ? this pattern. I’ve made 4 tops already. It firs like a dream! Muriell

I am so, so pleased with my make. It fits lovely, and is very flattering. The pattern was easy to follow and I can’t wait to make another top and try out some more itch to stitch patterns. Thankyou
k.l.mcintosh –
I love this pattern, great instructions and easy to make. The finished garment looks and feels great.

I love this turtle neck top. It was quick and easy to make and looks fantastic. I am a large busted person so the next one I make I’m going to lengthen the pattern by a few centimetres.
