I blame Crystal Rice for this purchase, if she didn’t make it look so darn cute I would not have realized my pattern collection needed it.

Lovely pattern – I made the short version. Really quick and easy and looked exactly like the photo. Will be making more.

So adaptable with the different options

  12. Susan

I purchased this pattern because I wanted a long cardigan pattern. The bonus with the Aviero was options for different lengths. I made the first one for my daughter in law who wanted a cardigan to wear over maternity clothes at work. This pattern fits wonderfully and was so easy to make. The result was beautiful! I already have fabric to make several more including shorter lengths.

  13. Regina

Great pattern, easy to follow instructions, good fit!

  14. Claudia

I liked the instructions and layout of the pattern very much. All clear. The fit wasn’t what I expected, it was very wide on the back wich made the sleeves fitting weird.

  15. Sabine

    very good pattern

I bought this pattern as I wanted a cardigan, but one that met in the middle (I’ve made the Blackwood cardigan but am forever tugging the fronts together) the instructions are extremely clear and the pieces go together beautifully. There are also so many options ! I made the long cardigan with 3/4 length sleeves and was so pleased with it I immediately made a short version with long sleeves and the the long cuffs. I don’t think I’ll need another cardigan pattern, this one is pretty much perfect.

I love this pattern! It’s a quick sew, but I had trouble with the binding on the bolero not lying flat. Other than that, it’s comfortable & attractive. A layer of warmth without covering up the front of your blouse.

Such an easy sew and a fantastic piece to wear – always get compliments when I put on one of my Aveiro cardigans. Love how every piece fits together so precisely when you go to sew it, great pattern drafting skills Kennis!

  19. jami

Really a fun pattern. With the different sleeve and bodice options, and all the fabric choices out there, it’s so easy to make something truly your own.

  20. Mel

Love the cardigan, so fun to make since I can serger it all. The bolero option is a nice addition, I’ve made 2 boleros and 1 short bodice cardigan. Great instructions.

  21. Darlene

Thank you this is lovely! Planning a second, and maybe a third!

  22. Elena

Love it! I used a not so stretchy knit with some structure and used a slightly small size. The result: my Aveiro cardigan looks like a jacket! I would say it is elegant. Recommended.

Great versatile pattern, and exactly what I was looking for. Also, exceptional directions, as always.

  24. Kim

Eas to put together and fun to wear.
