Lynda –
First time making an Itch to Stitch pattern and loved it. Absolutely delighted with the result. I also followed Karina’s YouTube video on the pockets.
Kadri –
A great pattern for softshell fabric! I like how it is longer on the back so it gives you enough cover from wind and rain.
Susan M. Vik –
Very, very happy with this pattern. I had not worked with softshell fabric before, but the instructions are excellent. It did not take all that long to put together, and the fit and styling are attractive . I would definitely make this pattern again.
hobbssa –
Loved the pictures, bought the pattern but struggled with the zippered pockets on the soft shell fabric. Followed a tutorial vlog by Karina from lifting pins and needles that saved me from just giving up. Pattern design and instructions are all good but I needed a close up visual so big, big thanks to Karina. The jacket itself began to look better as the construction continued and if I made it again I would do a far better job but with bigger projects like this you tend not to make several but I’ll take the skills forward hopefully. If you aren’t a big itch to stitch follower and pattern sewist just don’t worry as it’s well worth a try but don’t size down with this one as it is quite fitted. Great design, just wish I was a better sewist. I have a wearable jacket and a few new skills.
Heidi –
Simply just lovely

Jeanette –
I absolutely love this pattern. Although I’m a fairly experienced sewer, it was my first time making a jacket and first time sewing with soft shell. The instructions were so detailed and easy to follow, and I’m very happy with my new jacket! I especially love having different cup size options which makes it so much easier to get the perfect fit. One minor suggestion is to put in a hanging loop when sewing the neck seam- I prefer hanging coats by a loop than by the hood so I’ll add that in next time. I will definitely be making another one (or three!)
Peggy –
I have started on this pattern and so far loving it!

Michele –
Beautiful jacket and very well written instructions, as usual.
