Itch to Stitch Birthday Tour – Day 3
If you haven’t already, you should enter the Rafflecopter at the end of this page to win the grand prize! And did you notice the banner up top? Yes, there’s also a sale going on! You will get 20% off one pattern, 30% off two patterns, or 40% off three or more patterns. So much going on!
As part of the birthday celebration, a featured designer of the day will give away two patterns. Be sure you enter for your chance to win there too!
For the third day of Itch to Stitch’s birthday extravaganza, we have three wonderful sewists and bloggers with me. (Check out other days of the Itch to Stitch Birthday Tour.)
Miranda from Inspinration
Miranda from Inspinration mostly sews for her kids, but seeing her daughters in all their colorful dresses made her jealous, so sometimes she also stocks her own closet. For the blog tour she sewed a Kathryn with long sleeves, which makes the pattern perfect for fall and winter wear.
Juli from Sweet Little Chickadee
Juli is an NYC based sewer, writer, knitter, and painter. When she’s not building up her fabric stash or drooling over super soft skeins of Alpaca yarn at her local yarn shop, she’s snuggling with her mini dachshund, Oliver, reading, cycling, or baking sweet delicious treats. You can follow her passion for all things creative over at Sweet Little Chickadee.
Amy from Friends Stitched Together
“Hi! I’m Amy and I blog over at Friends Stitched Together with my best friend. I have two little boys that I sew for all the time – they love Joann’s (almost) as much as I do and are convinced I can make anything they ask for! When I’m not busy fulfilling their requests or designing for Momma Quail Patterns, I love sewing things for myself that are completely unique and make me feel pretty!”

My fondest sewing memory is my boyfriend teaching me how to use a sewing machine 🙂
i was ecstatic to find your patterns. I was looking everywhere for a shorts pattern that fit my style (and my body type). Congrats on the birthday!
My fondest sewing memory is the first time I successfully followed a pattern that involved more than rectangles. It was a skort for my daughter and I was so pleased that I managed to put it together and it looked good and she could (and was willing to) wear it.
Watching my Grandmother sew & wanting to be just like her. I would watch her for hours as a child & I still want to be just like her.
my fondest sewing memory is working on my senior collection with all my friends in the workroom and then seeing it all come together on the runway. Definitely special!
My favourite sewing memory is sewing with my grandmother.
My fondest sewing memory is a recent one – the first time my daughter picked out her own fabrics for her dress, and found a pattern she liked herself, then requested I make it. She’s 4 and getting a strong opinion on her clothes, and I loved “working” with her like that.
My fondest sewing memory is making my first garment and being so pround to wear it.
My favourite sewing memory is sewing clothes for my dolls.
My favourite sewing memory is sewing dolls clothes when I was 8 with my cousins
My favourite sewing memory is sewing an elvis costume for a friend
Thanks for this giveaway!
My fondest sewing memory is the first dress I made for myself!
my fondest sewing memory is…trying to learn how to sew in home ec and doing quite miserably, and then surprising my mom by learning how to sew on my own and doing a decent job!!!!
