One of my favorite things about the Salas Jacket is how much personality you can give it with your fabric choice. Use a beautiful pre-quilted fabric, a vintage quilt, or quilt your own fabric to create something completely unique. The straightforward design lets the fabric take center stage, while the different neckline and length options give you plenty of ways to make the jacket your own.

This pink jacket with beige binding is the short-length version with the collar neckline. It’s made from a pre-quilted cotton gauze with polyester wadding, so the fabric is quite lofty and gives the jacket a cozy feel.

This jacket with the bird print and magenta binding is the hip-length version with the V-neck. I bought this Indian kantha quilt from Etsy. It’s 100% cotton with no batting, making it a very lightweight option for the Salas Jacket.

This blue jacket is the thigh-length version with the round neckline. It’s made from a 100% cotton quilt I bought from IKEA, with super-lightweight cotton batting. I bought the smallest quilt they had, and I still have enough fabric left to make another jacket!
