New Pattern: Taroko Skirt
I’m super excited to share with you my latest obsession – the Taroko Skirt PDF Sewing Pattern from Itch to Stitch! This pattern is seriously amazing and I just can’t get enough of it. I think you will feel the same once you make yours.
For one week (through May 10, 2023), the Taroko Skirt pattern is 20% off. The volume discount still applies—get 15% off your entire cart if your purchase is $20 or more, or 20% off your entire cart if your purchase is $30 or more.
First of all, let’s talk about the features. This A-line skirt has front princess seams that give it a really flattering shape. And the best part? There are front patch pockets integrated right into those seams! I mean, who doesn’t love a good pocket, am I right?
The contour waistband sits perfectly at your natural waist, giving you a really comfortable and flattering fit. Plus, there’s a fly-front zipper with button closure as well as back waist darts for extra shaping. It has back patch pockets for even more storage.
Now, I know what some of you might be thinking – “I’m not sure I’m skilled enough to sew this!” But don’t worry, even though the Taroko Skirt is designed for intermediate sewists, the instructions take you every step of the way. I’d say it’s completely doable even if this is your first zipper installation.
The Taroko Skirt is made for non-stretch, bottom-weight woven fabric. I encourage you to play around with different textures and prints to create a unique piece of garment.
