Material

Fabric Use light to medium light-weight knit fabric with at least 75% four-way stretch. Jersey, matte jersey, interlock and very-light weight French terry are great choices. If you use fabric with less stretch, you may choose a larger size. Conversely, if you use fabric with more stretch, you may choose a smaller size. The same fabric is used to line the bodice. However, if your knit fabric is on the heavier side, you may choose to line the bodice with a lighter-weight knit fabric. Jersey and tricot are great choices.

  1. Marilyn

Lovely design without drawing too much attention to bustline. I would like the shoulders in your pattern line to be less straight across. I think it would accommodate most women’s natural posture.

As always, your instructions were awesome. I also love your ambassador sewists- Tomkat and Karina. I always know I can follow a sewalong. I would love to see more patterns for us wide shouldered ( inverted triangle) types. Keep up the great work! Very reliable patterns.

  3. Deborah

Love the sleeve options. I prefer to have my arms covered up. Some of the testers are in my size and age group, good too see how pattern looks.

I’m an adventurous beginner with a serger I don’t have too much experience on and a new intermediate sewing machine. Of the few garments I’ve sewn now, this is by far the best. I have a short torso, and with a petite adjustment to the neck and waist area, I was able to get a perfect fit! The bust is usually a tricky area for me, but I used the ITS measurements and I didn’t need to add or change anything to accommodate my 34D bust (used size 14). I’m going to use the bodice again over a 1yd skirt to make a second dress. After that, I think I’ll use the pattern a 3rd time with a winter-weight material and long sleeves. Oh, and I love the pockets too!

  7. Stephanie

  8. Catherine
