So quick and easy to sew! It doesn’t use much fabric (especially if you seam up the centre back). It could use a little length which is easy to do. I plan to make a couple more for cozy gifts!

  60. ennyk

I saw the pattern on Instagram and since I wanted to make a present for a friend, I immediately bought it and had planned to make a few more for Christmas presents. It’s a fast sew but getting the narrow hem totally even isn’t easy with thin sweater knits and neither is stitching the sleeve seams exactly in the ditch on both the front and the back. Should I ever make that pattern again, I would do the hem by hand and hand baste the sleeve seams. It probably would be easier if using a sturdier fabric like a French terry. I read that compared to the test makes I saw, the hem at the front was extended by two inches and that created an oval shape I’m not keen on. The circle look of the tester versions are more appealing to me. I’m still not sure if it’s good enough for a dear friend.
